Hypnosis to Stop Smoking

Hi Colette,

I stopped smoking at 4pm on 16 March 2016.  After over 35 years I have not had a cigarette for 5 days.

Thank you so much.  I am amazed and have never been so happy.  You have provided me with the tools to manage any urges that I experience and there have been many.

Hundreds of times I have told myself that I don’t smoke and that I am strong.  You can’t wipe the smile off my face.  I have even cried with happiness.

During previous efforts when I did quit I actually never really stopped.  I would sneak in one every now and then and would really struggle to overcome urges.  Now I laugh every time my naughty side tells me to have a smoke.  I laugh because I don’t smoke any more.  I don’t even know who that person that smoked was.

Absolutely happy for you to use this as one of your testimonials.  I have recommended friends as well.

Yes the triggers are less but still strong.  But the strength of my mind is more powerful and I just can’t stop smiling because I don’t smoke !! (really laughing out loud while typing this J).

Hypnosis to overcome a fear of public speaking

Hi Colette,


A couple of weeks ago I saw you for help with public speaking anxiety. My presentation was today – it was an absolute success!


I had no anxiety whatsoever. Granted, I used other aids in addition to hypnosis, so it’s hard to say which one worked better than others, BUT standing in front of the audience, I wished I had more than 15 minutes to talk about my research. And I clearly remember this was one of your hypnotic suggestions! I have never felt that comfortable during public speaking in my entire life. People actually came up to me and told me I was an excellent public speaker. Even my supervisor complimented me on my performance!


Again, thank you so much for helping me with my fear of public speaking! Finally, I feel strong, confident and comfortable in front of a large audience.

Hypnosis for Weight Loss

I met Collette a year ago and have had several opportunities since to chat and learned about her background and passion for helping people. Her integrity and old fashioned values came to the fore, mixed with an open, relaxed and easy going manner, which makes it extremely easy to get along with her. Whilst chatting, I described areas of my life where I was being limited. I began to realise I had some fundamental changes to make to improve and take control of my physical and emotional wellbeing.

A couple of years ago I’d been on a major health-kick, losing 23Kg. But in 2012 and 2013 I regained 10Kg, and felt I’d completely lost control of my wellbeing. I kept saying I’d re-join the gym and improve my diet – but tomorrow.  I needed to take positive action, so 2014 was a time for change.

I decided to visit Collette’s practice in London Court, which conveniently based in the CBD. There is something iconic about the location which adds to the air of anticipation. I recall my first session on a Monday evening, after work. I had time to do the session and still head for an early train.

After arriving we chatted about my personal goals and objectives and just enough personal history to give Colette some insights into what had been going on in my life. What surprised me was Colette didn’t need my life story. I could say as much or as little as I liked.  But I noticed her scribbling away on her notepad, but didn’t realise until later how profound these notes would be in causing change.

My most important goal was to regain control of my health. I needed to break the old habits of fast food, chocolate, unhealthy food and large portion sizes. I remember sitting there during the session, but as I was so relaxed, there were periods of time that I was completely tuned out. I remember though as I listened to the relaxing hypnotic guidance, all those familiar terms and metaphors I use when I think. Colette had picked them out of our conversation and noted them down, turning them into trusted advice and much needed encouragement to change. So how could I resist?!

 The next morning I woke up a changed person. In the next two weeks I lost 5kg, effortlessly, no crazy diet plan and no gym membership required! I had gained a passion for healthy food, I was recognising when I was full and stopped eating sooner and I could see myself devouring all these healthy types of food and loving it. What I didn’t expect was the strong physical response I had against fast food and sugary things. Going past a takeaway shop literally makes me feel ill. There’s no way I’m going back in there!

When I walk around the supermarket I’m simply not interested in the chocolates and biscuits. I don’t have to resist them and fight the urge, I just don’t want them. It’s hard to describe how this change feels. It’s not an argument in my head, or a discussion on what the right stuff to eat is, or what to avoid. It’s just really simple, each day I make better choices and feel great about it. My friends and loved ones can’t believe how quickly I’ve transformed, how much healthier I look and happier. For the first time in years I feel like I’ve invested in myself, done something that was just for me. I reap the rewards every day now feeling healthier, happier, positive and open to what else I can achieve.

I have no hesitation in recommending Colette as I am sure you too have something you need to and want to change, and maybe tomorrow you’ll wake up a different person like I did. But to do that tomorrow, you have to do something for yourself – today.

You took the time to get to know me and showed a real interest in me.  I always felt like you really cared I get a good result.  Every session with you felt unhurried and I never felt like I was just a number.  Before every session you took time to find out how things were going which helped me to get some of my thoughts in order. When I called you up a few months later for a backup session, you instantly remembered who I was, what was going in my life and what my issues were.

    Three months since my last cigarette. Thank you thank you thank you. I even lost 2kg! Must be all the running I am able to do now. I feel great. hyposis works when nothing else did.
